National Distributor - $250,000 ABL Facility
Copia Finacial arranged a $250,000 ABL facility for a national supplier of gourmet deserts and breakfast pastries; This facility replaced a $30,000 operating line of credit. CFS was able to obtain a letter of intent with in three weeks of having an executed engagement letter.
Oil and Gas Exploration - Alberta
Copia Financial arranged a $30,000,000 investment in a combination of equity and debt for a Canadian Oil and Gas exploration company in Alberta. Two letters of interest were received with in 30 days of Copia accepting the engagment, the transaction closed within four month of the engagment. The company had been in search of financing for two years; Copia Financial re-structured the deal, then broke it down into phases; The latter was ultimatly the reason behind such a quick and efficient close.
A National Distributor of Home Entertainment Product
Initially CFS was engaged to assist in a new system implementation, as well as a first time audit. CFS remained with the company for over two years and assumed the Interim CFO position.
CFS played a key role in obtaining a $4,000,000 asset based loan against receivables and inventory; and maintained and oversaw all the reporting required under such facility.
CFS worked directly with the accounting department to ensure timely and accurate reporting. It also assisted on various operational issues, such as warehouse costs efficiencies, freight and product development.
